I'm at an afterparty for some concert. The whole vibe was very mid-to-late 90's. Mike, Blake, and Scott are there, as well as my friend Sarah (and tons of other people that were normally at Chicago afterparties). I think we are all in Chicago. Sarah asks me to grab her a drink that I have never heard of -- a "(something) ear". The bartender gave me some other kind of the drink at first, but I correct him and tell him I need the "ear" version of it. I bring Sarah her drink and nurse my Jack & Coke while talking to Scott about what he is doing these days, but he seems really coked up and on edge. I'm trying to make sense out of what he is saying, but it ain't easy. Mike joins the conversation. He is wearing a long, designer coat. That's about all I remember. Sorry I don't have any pics from it.
